These 323,000 Georgia families are working hard, yet not earning a sufficient income to meet the rising costs of housing, healthcare, child care, and other necessities. GBPI's Strengthening the Foundation series, part of the national Working Poor Families Project, assesses state policies and programs designed to help these low-income working families succeed in the labor market and achieve economic security.
