Associate Director of Development

Rachel Stanley

Rachel Stanley serves as GBPI’s Associate Director of Development. In this role, she supports the organization’s financial growth and sustainability with a focus on individual and institutional giving and development systems and processes. 

Prior to joining GBPI, Rachel worked at several Atlanta-area nonprofits, including Propel ATL (formerly the Atlanta Bicycle Coalition), the Latin American Association, the Southern Center for Human Rights, and the Global Village Project. Outside of work, she has served on the boards of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Greater Atlanta chapter, Georgians for a Healthy Future, Neighborhood Planning Unit (NPU) X, and the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network of Atlanta (YNPN). She is a proud alumna of the YWCA of Greater Atlanta’s Georgia Women’s Policy Institute and the American Jewish Committee’s Project Understanding Black Jewish Retreat. 

She holds a master’s degree in public policy from the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies at Georgia State University and a bachelor’s degree in international studies from Elon University.
