Furaha Njoroge is GBPI's 2020 summer communications intern. She joins the organization with an impressive array of communications and related internships behind her, including at The Borgen Project, FunnelAmplified and Church World Service in DC.
In 2011, Furaha founded Caring Kids for Kenya with a friend from church. They organize Kenyans living in Atlanta to build wells in Kenya and to raise awareness around social issues in the country.
Furaha supports the communications team in our safety net initiative work.
