Welcome Immigrant Communities

The Priorities

Georgians who are foreign-born live, work, raise their families and help drive the state economy. They make up over 10% of Georgia’s population. For these Georgians to continue to create opportunities for themselves, for their families and for our state, GBPI is prioritizing the following priorities:

  • Advocate for theexpansion of access to driver’s licensesfor all Georgians, regardless of legal status.
  • Expand language access through multilingual communications that reflect the diversity and richness of Georgia’s immigrant communities.
