Georgia has less available federal and state Maintenance of Effort (MOE) funds for Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) due to a decreasing federal unobligated balance; cuts to the federal TANF Supplemental Grant; and, an increased reliance on private funds for TANF MOE.
